The rules for using SourceCraft.

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "merchant", "your") and the independent developer operating the SourceCraft Shopify app under the brand name Shinoki Lab (the "app", "service", "we", "us"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install the app, and uninstall any existing installation.

2. The service

SourceCraft surfaces product candidates from public marketplaces (DHgate, Banggood, AliExpress, Walmart, Amazon, and similar) in response to your natural-language search prompts, attaches evidence (supplier price, competitor listings, trend signal), and lets you create draft Shopify products from the picks you choose.

Recommendations are informational. You are responsible for verifying supplier reliability, product legality in your jurisdiction, intellectual-property considerations, and final pricing before listing or selling. Margin estimates depend on third-party data that can become stale; treat them as a starting point, not a promise.

3. Fees, billing, and cancellation

SourceCraft is offered as a paid subscription. The current published price is USD 19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial for new installs. All fees are billed in US dollars and processed through Shopify's AppSubscription billing system as part of your Shopify invoice — we do not collect or store any payment-card information directly. Fees become non-refundable once charged, except where applicable law requires otherwise or where Shopify's own refund policy applies.

You may cancel at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. Uninstall is effective immediately on your side; on ours, our Admin API access is revoked as part of handling Shopify's app/uninstalled webhook, which Shopify dispatches without undue delay. Any adjustment to fees already charged — pro-ration, refund, or otherwise — is handled by Shopify's billing system according to Shopify's policies. Uninstalling during the 7-day free trial prevents any charge from occurring.

We may change pricing in the future. Pricing changes will be communicated through the in-app interface, this page, or email at least 30 days before they take effect for your account. Continued use of the paid service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. Permitted use

• Use the app only with Shopify stores you own or are authorized to operate.
• Comply with Shopify's Terms of Service, the Shopify Acceptable Use Policy, and the laws of every jurisdiction where you operate.
• Don't reverse-engineer the app, probe or exploit its internal endpoints, or attempt to overload the Shopify Admin API or any third-party service we depend on.
• Don't use the app to source products that infringe trademarks, copyrights, patents, or any other rights of third parties.
• Don't use the app to source goods prohibited under Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy, the applicable marketplaces' policies, or applicable law — including but not limited to counterfeit goods, weapons, controlled substances, hazardous materials, or any product whose sale is restricted in your jurisdiction.
• Don't use the app on behalf of a third party in a way that would breach these Terms if that third party used the app directly.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached this section. Where practical and not legally prohibited, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure before suspension.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of your search prompts, your starred picks, and any product drafts created in your store. We use them only to operate the app for you — run the recommendation pipeline, populate your dashboard, persist history. See the Privacy Policy for data-handling details.

6. Third-party content

Supplier and competitor listings linked from the app are published by third parties on platforms we don't control. We verify URLs and prices on a best-effort basis and re-check them periodically, but listings can disappear, change price, or become unavailable without notice. The supplier or marketplace, not SourceCraft, is the seller in any transaction you complete with them, and any dispute about quality, delivery, refund, or warranty is between you and that seller.

7. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the recommendations will be profitable, that supplier inventory will remain available, that any third-party signal we surface is accurate or current, or that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against unauthorized access.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Shinoki Lab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or relating to your use of the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Our total cumulative liability for any and all claims relating to the app will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or statutory consumer protections in your jurisdiction).

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator of Shinoki Lab from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) caused by: (a) your use of the app in violation of these Terms or applicable law; (b) your sourcing, listing, or sale decisions — including any claim that products you chose to source infringe a third party's rights or violate consumer-protection laws; or (c) your breach of any representation or warranty in these Terms. This indemnity does not cover claims to the extent they arise from our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or from defects in the recommendation algorithm itself (as opposed to your decisions about whether and how to act on a recommendation). We will give you reasonable notice of any such claim and reasonable cooperation in the defense.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. Uninstall fires the app/uninstalled webhook, which both revokes our API access and triggers an immediate transactional cascade-delete of all shop-scoped data. Shopify's shop/redact webhook, fired roughly 48 hours later, runs the same delete again as defense-in-depth. You can also request immediate deletion by emailing us at support@shinokilab.com. See the Privacy Policy for the scope of what gets deleted.

We may suspend or terminate your access if (a) you breach these Terms; (b) continued operation would create a legal, regulatory, or security risk to us or to other merchants; (c) Shopify's billing system suspends your subscription for non-payment; or (d) we cease offering the app generally. Except in cases of breach posing immediate risk, we will provide reasonable advance notice and, where applicable, an opportunity to cure.

11. Force majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, denial-of-service attacks, or extended outages of third-party services we depend on (including Shopify and OpenAI).

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes — those that meaningfully affect your rights, obligations, or fees — we will, where practical, notify you in-app or by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Non-material changes (typographical fixes, clarifications, restructuring) take effect on posting and are reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a change, uninstall the app before the effective date.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Taipei, Taiwan, except where local consumer-protection law of your jurisdiction grants you non-waivable rights to bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in this section limits your right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. General provisions

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order or billing terms exposed through Shopify's AppSubscription system, constitute the entire agreement between you and the operator of Shinoki Lab regarding the app and supersede any prior agreement on the same subject.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to a successor in connection with a sale of the app or business, with notice to you.
• Relationship. The parties are independent contractors. These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship.
• Notices. We may give notice under these Terms by email to the address associated with your Shopify store, by in-app notification, or by posting on this page with an updated effective date. Notice to us must be sent to support@shinokilab.com.

15. Trademarks and third-party services

"Shopify" is a registered trademark of Shopify Inc. SourceCraft, operated under the brand name Shinoki Lab, is an independent third-party app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify Inc. References to Shopify, its products, or its APIs are for the sole purpose of describing the integration and do not imply any endorsement or partnership.

All other product names, logos, brands, trademarks, and registered trademarks referenced on this site or in the app — including but not limited to marketplace names (Amazon, Walmart, AliExpress, DHgate, Banggood) and the OpenAI name — are the property of their respective owners. Use of those names is for identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement.
